Building Better Lives for Disabled American Veterans And Their Families
With more than 1.2 million members, Disabled American Veterans is an organization of disabled veterans who are focused on building better lives for disabled veterans and their families.
The organization accomplishes this goal by providing free assistance to veterans in obtaining benefits and services earned through their military service. It is fully funded through its membership dues and public contributions. It is not a government agency and receives no government funds.
DAV is the foremost representative of the interests of disabled veterans and their families, their widowed spouses and their orphans before federal, state, and local governments. Our National Legislative Program ensures disabled veterans are not forgotten by lawmakers.
D.A.V. Transportation Network
The Department of Arkansas also adminsters the D.A.V. Transportation Network in Arkansas. Offering a free ride to a Veteran with an appointment from different cities in Arkansas. Our network serves both the Fayetteville V.A.M.C. and the Little Rock V.A.M.C. For more information call (501) 257-6991.
D.A.V. National Service Office Little Rock
The D.A.V. has a National Service Office to help represent Veterans and their families, helping them file claims with the V.A., and other services at no cost! Please do not submit any claim information to the Department email address - instead please call the National Service Office at (501) 370-3838, and ask them what the preferred venue for submission of documents is.
